Triumph Poem
My life began at sixty five
At last I knew at last I was alive.
By now it’s clear the die is cast.
I can see the future and the past is past
So eager I am now for each day
I’ve no need to strive to make my way
At some point in life you’ve done what you’ve done
And now what’s left is to have some fun
No need for me to watch each word
I can be a fool, a genius or a nerd
My tread is firm and my giddiness swells
No more must I need to walk on eggshells?
Time to shine and enjoy the revel
You don’t like my ‘tude you can go to the Devil
So at this point I say with glee
What could they possibly do to me
