The Group Theorist
The Group Theorist – I have a theory, philosophical or religious, which I am not sure is called Group Theory. It’s not the kind of group theory that mathematicians study. This is quite different. I am still developing it, but the heart of it is that we humans naturally group things – including other people. Sometimes grouping is wonderful and sometimes awful, depending on the purpose. Prominent examples are grouping others based on race, religion, color, sex, and other factors. We cannot help doing this grouping process in our minds, as in some respect, it is a survival requirement; however, just because we have ‘grouped,’ people does not mean we should be judging the individual persons in the groups with a singular judgment which we may have reached about the overall group itself. I hope to find time to write more about this someday since humanity really needs it.
