The Bruce Political Project

I am launching The Bruce Political Project.  I am not (yet) planning to run for office – maybe in a few years.  For now, I will be backing No Labels in the capacity as No Labels Chair for New Jersey.  If you are curious about No Labels, you can ask me of course or go to their website: www.nolabels.org.  I like its concept of Power to the Middle and Solving Problems, as opposed to hurling insults from party to party.  I was at their annual caucus in early December and found myself energized by the bipartisan friendliness (yes, roughly 20 Senators, Congressmen and Governors — Republicans and Democrats — working together, even as friends) and the goals of solving problems for America.

Initially I will be providing political thoughts within the general rubric of what I am best at; namely, seeing different points of view and solving problems.  I will also be backing candidates who have the good of the country more in their hearts than the goals of their respective party.  I admit I do like Plato’s statement:

Participate in government or be governed by those who do

To conclude, I do hope you will subscribe to The Bruce Political Project and not just watch me on my journey but participate and help me become a strong a positive advocate for improving our country.

Meanwhile, I will covenant to keep the Project engaging and thought-provoking and never to write articles unless I feel there is something of interest to say.
