Wisdom is Looking Deeper

If you look for trouble in a man – you will certainly find it

But if you look for good things in the same man – you will (likely) find that too

God’s mystery is that when you strip away the shell, our husk has kernels both savory and rotten

When we reproach the faults of others, are we beyond reproach ourselves – have we no bitter kernels

A wise person is aware of the rotten kernels in another person but minds but little, so enamored is he with the taste of what is savory in that person
